It’s Christmas Time Again

One of the few advantages of living alone is that you get to determine how you decorate your den. Since migrating to America, and temporarily living alone, my Christmas decorations never come down. That’s because for me it’s always Christmas time. Christmas is associated first with the birth of Jesus Christ, and by extrapolation, His death, resurrection and ascension. Christmas is also associated with giving and receiving of gifts. But do you really believe that it is more blessed to give than to receive? If your Christmas time is primarily about receiving, you are obliged to celebrate it, only when others choose to give to you. Over that you have no control. But if your Christmas time is primarily about giving, then you retain the right and the power to make every day of your life, Christmas. Like the brain and the female mammary glands, the more they give, the more you give, the more you will have to give. There will always be a lucrative market for your product of giving. And each gift you give with a pure motive will increase your capacity to manufacture more. And best of all, the more you give, the more you will receive.
